The Raven was the fifth episode of the first series of Doctor Who Rebirth produced by Justin Ross & Nick Zippelli. This episode takes place in 1845, in Baltimore, Maryland. It is a companion-lite episode with the companion of the story being Edgar Allan Poe and is centered around a fictional inspiration for Poe to write his poem, The Raven.
It is one of the first episodes of Rebirth where a historic character is featured as a companion. This wouldn't happen again until the Series 2 episode 'The Night Stalker' with Washington Irving.
